So here I am in Kentucky, or rather I have been for a few days and just got around to getting online. This place is great. You've got college-aged mega-liberals like me and stereotypical inbred crooked-toothed rebel-flag sporting conservative racist hicks all nestled in here with nothing but a few hills between us. If there's another civil war it's gonna start here and I'm gonna join the yankees' army and blow the legs off some rednecks.

Still no job, but my awesome uncle has connections and might be able to get me some good leads. But who needs money? I already have free wifi net access thanks to my dumbass neighbor upstairs using a WEP key that took all of ten minutes to decrypt. Hahahahahack the planet :V

So anyway the drawback is that this state, despite being full of crazy hicks, knows jack shit about fireworks. You can't buy fancy crap here, just "family fun packs" (aka weak shit) from walmart or something. On top of that, the people who DID have a big fireworks display planned waited so god damn long to start it that it began to rain and it was ruined and everyone basically stood around for 2 hours waiting for nothing. Smooth!

Not that I give a fuck about patriotism, but fireworks are always fun and I always enjoyed getting out of town and blowing shit up with my friends. I'll miss them and my little part of town but it's time to get a fucking move on with my life. So here goes.

We won the battle. Now begins the war. Fuck you, McCain. We're going to come down on your fossilized tortured ass like a fucking hurricane!

I guess it didn't really hit me until now.

Common sense lost in 2004 after a Bush term

Will probably lose in 2008 after two Bush terms

Will probably lose yet again in 2012 after a McCain term (so basically three Bush terms)

America will choose eight more years of debt and war because someone with a funny name forgot to wear a flag pin and had a crazy fucking pastor

Anyway, I just watched the HBO movie "Recount" and now I'm depressed because democracy lost to bureaucracy and I'm guessing it always will. That said, you should watch it because it's educational, funny and an overall good film.

Also, we probably reached peak oil back in 2005 and no one wants to admit it and all of our silly "green" solutions are a load of shit and a drop in the bucket compared to what is necessary to fix everything.

Laugh at the idiots while you can because unless those idiots start extracting their heads from their asses en masse and do it in a hurry, things will begin to suck pretty soon. Who needs conspiracy theories or hyperbole? The facts are bad enough. The writing is on the wall and the storm clouds are on the horizon.

Humanity's motto: "We can never do it the easy way."

Is there any level to which Hillary is unwilling to sink to validate the continuation of her hopeless campaign? I really hope Barack doesn't take this bitch as his VP. He's a classy guy and the Clintons are jackals.
